Dr. Janjua is a full-time faculty member and Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at the University of British Columbia (UBC). He completed his ENT residency training at the University of Toronto. He undertook further advanced fellowship training in Rhinology, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital and the University Health Network in Toronto.

For the last 10 years, Dr. Janjua has been simultaneously on staff at the Vancouver General Hospital (VGH) and St. Paul’s Hospital (SPH) in Vancouver and has a dedicated Rhinology practice specializing in Image-guided Endoscopic Sinus Surgery and the Endoscopic Management of Skull Base Pathologies.

Dr. Janjua is an active peer-reviewed researcher and the author of several book chapters on sinus surgery and skull base surgery. He has been an invited speaker at academic meetings and sinus & skull base surgical courses on 3 continents.

Dr. Janjua is a full-time surgical educator within the UBC Otolaryngology residency training program and has been the recipient of the ‘Surgical Teacher of the Year’ award twice in the last 5 academic years. Additionally, he is the Fellowship Director of the Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery Fellowship Program at the Vancouver General Hospital.
