Dr Marie-jo Olivier is a Head and Neck surgeon from University of Montreal. After having completed her medical school at McGill University, she pursued her ENT residency at University of Montreal. She completed subsequently a two year AJCC accredited fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction at University of Toronto. She is presently professeur adjoint de clinique at University of Montreal, faculty membre-actif at the CIUSS-de-l’Est-de-l’Ile-de-Montreal, faculty membre-associé at the CHUM Montreal.

As chef de service ORL CEMTL, she is member of several committees including the Comité de Division, the Comité de Programme and the Comité d’Admission ORL Université de Montréal. She has occupied the roles of past chair/co-chair/head and neck lead/examiner for the Royal College of Canada ENT subspecialty examinations. She is involved in preclinical and post-graduate teaching , is an assigned mentor for the ENT and general surgery residency programs and is CAHNSO secretary. Her present research interests include surgical clinical trials and her surgical interests include head and neck skin cancer, oral cavity cancer and endocrine surgery with regular collaborations with le Centre d’Excellence en Ophthalmologie Université de Montréal and the Sarcoma Group CEMTL.
