Dr. Sam Daniel is a professor of Otolaryngology and Pediatric Surgery at McGill University, and director of Otolaryngology at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. He currently sits on the Board of Directors of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology and is a member of The Triological Society. Dr Daniel is the CPD Director of the Federation of Medical specialists of Quebec and a senior CPD educator for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Dr Daniel is a clinician scientist who heads the McGill Otolaryngology Sciences Laboratory and has over 200 publications. His clinical and research interests are in airway, dysphagia, salivary disorders, and otology.

Dr Daniel has held a number of leadership roles including: President of the Société Internationale Francophone d’ORL (SIFORL); CPD director and treasurer of the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery; and Director of the Program committee of the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology. He is also the recipient of several awards including Canada’s top 40 under 40.
